Wilson Jumper

Speaker: Wilson Jumper, PMP

In this presentation Mr. Jumper plans to cover 7 items that he has used these 40+ years to keep projects on track. His presentation will be interactive, puts a new spin on solutions to some common problems likely encountered in project management, and fun for all in attendance.

Wilson was the VP of Engineering for the Mastercraft Fabrics Division of Collins & Aikman where he was responsible for the Capital Spending and Environmental issues in 30 plants for 21 years. Afterward he worked 5 years for USPS Headquarters and developed the energy improvement program focused on reducing energy consumption in 34,000 USPS buildings across the US. USPS was the first federal entity to reach a 25% federally mandated energy reduction goal. After leaving USPS Wilson has been in the energy reduction market as Senior Project Manager with both Eaton Corp and AMEC Foster Wheeler. He is currently managing 26 projects focused on Site Security, Energy Efficiency and Recycling / Sustainability in USPS buildings across the country. He has a NC General Contractors License, a Mechanical Engineering Degree and received his PMP certification in 2012.

Topics presented during these sessions are designed to not only satisfy the PDU requirement for re-certifying as a PMP, but to also provide wide appeal to people involved in project management regardless of whether or not they are certified PMPs. The 1-hour sessions meet the educational requirements to qualify for 1 PDU credits for maintaining PMP® certification or to meet the requirement for attending 35 hours of formal project management education prior to applying to sit for the PMP® exam.
