Presentation Abstract

Most professionals have a career that will span more than 7,000+ days, 50,000+ hours.  The average professional will work for 8+ organizations earning well over $1M.  For something so important, why leave this aspect of your life to chance?   The majority of professionals neglect the opportunity to build a personal career plan.  They don’t proactively build a plan taking into account changing market conditions and rapidly evolving technologies.   They lack intention to their career progression and find themselves reacting to events outside their control.  In this session, Jon will share his two decades of experience helping IT professionals navigate their careers. He’s helped more than 2,000 professionals find their next job and worked with top US companies from start-ups in Silicon Valley to top Financial Institutions on Wall Street.

You will walk away with  a step by step plan to manage your career so you can make the most of where you are today, and plan for future growth in your profession. Jon will shed light on the current market for Project Managers in various sectors and how to build your own process for successful career management – as defined by you.  He’ll teach you the way to build a valuable personal network of personal advisors that will be part of your long term career success.  You’ll also receive the Top 10 Career Management Tips for 2017 that you can put to use immediately – whether on the market or not.

Hope to see you at the meeting!
