The following information and documents are for use and reference by our members, sponsors, and the general public.

The PMI Metrolina Chapter is organized as a mutual benefit, 501(c)(6) not-for-profit organization, which generally encompasses professional and business league-type organizations. While we do not pay taxes, contributions to our organization are not tax deductible in the same sense as a donation to a charitable foundation. However, membership dues and/or contributions may be deductible as a business or professional development expense; please contact a competent public accountant or tax attorney for advise.

The ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION are the document by which our organization is incorporated by the State of North Carolina. The Articles of Incorporation constitute a public document that supersedes the bylaws and all other internal management rules & regulations.

The PMI METROLINA BYLAWS summarize the leadership structure, operations and other fundamentals of how the chapter is organized.

Board of Directors

President
The President is the Chief Executive Officer for the Chapter and of the Board, and performs such duties as are customary for presiding officers, including making all required appointments with the approval of the Board.

Past President
The Past President acts as mentor to the newly elected Board.

Vice President of Marketing 
The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for Chapter communications including the chapter newsletter, website updates, social media, and other Chapter publications, This also includes securing Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorships and promoting the Chapter within the Communities that we serve. 

Vice President of Administration
The Vice President of Administration keeps the records of all business meetings of the Chapter and meetings of the Board.  This also includes internal process documentation and maintenance and governance of the Chapter. 

Vice President of Finance
The Vice President of Finance is the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for the Chapter and oversees the management of funds for duly authorized purposes of the Chapter.
 
Vice President of Professional Development
The Vice President of Professional Development is responsible for professional education programs to include PMP certification preparation classes, Saturday PDU classes and Professional Development Day.

Vice President of Membership
The Vice President of Membership is responsible for membership issues, for recruitment and retention of members into the Chapter, and supervises membership activities.

Vice President of Programs
The Vice President of Programs is responsible for the development, scheduling and coordination of chapter and community meetings including developing the chapter meeting agenda, coordinating meeting schedules, and locating speakers.
